TOMATO SAUCE WITH AROMATIC HERBS 200 GR

This tomato and herb sauce is based on a simple recipe from our chefs. At the last minute, we added aromatic herbs: basil and thyme, to the Emilia-Romagna tomatoes and extra virgin olive oil. We use locally harvested aromatic herbs to create a fragrant sauce that's easy to use and very versatile. With a little imagination, this type of sauce lends itself to a variety of dishes, from appetizers to first courses, and even to cooking meat. It can be considered a more fragrant substitute for traditional tomato puree. The low acidity of Emilia-Romagna tomatoes and the fragrance of the aromatic herbs evoke the flavors of summer.

INGREDIENTS: Tomato puree (95%), extra virgin olive oil, onion, aromatic herbs (2.4%) (basil, thyme), Cervia sea salt. Origin of the tomato: Italy. GLUTEN-FREE.
