Friggione Bolognese is a traditional sauce made with tomato, onion, and extra virgin olive oil, once used by Emilian peasant families as a side dish.
A tasty, easy-to-use, and versatile sauce, it's excellent for making crostini or tigelle, or paired with soft polenta and boiled meats or casseroled white meats.
