This is how Solaia is born, produced from the most carefully selected Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Sangiovese grapes from the vineyard of the same name.

TASTING NOTES

A very intense ruby red color with violet hues. Excellent expression and aromatic complexity: the nose reveals intense notes of plum jam and ripe dark fruits such as blackberry, blueberry, and blackcurrant. The distinct aromas of chocolate and licorice are perfectly integrated, giving way on the
finish to a minty sensation that lends the bouquet a pleasant freshness. On the palate, the wine is harmonious, with an excellent, balanced structure; the roundness and sweetness of the tannins make it compact and elegant, with an extremely long finish and a very persistent spicy aftertaste.
