Villa Calicantus is a small biodynamic winery in Calmasino, in the heart of the Bardolino Classico region, just steps from southeastern Lake Garda. The winery practices high-quality viticulture. Respect for the vines and the soil, uncompromising work in the vineyard, and long aging in the cellar allow us to produce unique wines that express the terroir, the blend, and the vintage from which they originate.

Avresir represents Villa Calicantus's challenge: to demonstrate that Bardolino can be a wine for aging. The vineyard dedicated to Avresir is on one of the highest hills in the appellation, in the village of Calmasino. Uncompromising work in the vineyard, two years in barrels and one in the bottle, produce our Riserva, the only Bardolino aged for two years in wood.
