AMARONE 2003 "IL VELLUTO" 750 ML

Amarone Il Velluto is made from the drying of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes. It is tied to tradition and the terroir, aging for at least five years in 20-25 hl Slavonian oak barrels.

TASTING NOTES

A ruby ​​red wine with an ethereal bouquet and delicate notes of cherry liqueur, red mulberry jam, violet, and licorice, evolving into tamarind, mushrooms, and spices.

OUR RECOMMENDATIONS

In traditional cuisine, it is found as the main ingredient in "Risotto all'Amarone" or paired with full-bodied steaks, game, and mature cheeses. This wine lends itself to long, very long bottle aging for 15-20 years.
