Marie-Noelle Ledru needs no preamble, nor does she need to present the absolute value of her champagnes with their strong identity and consistency. The 100% Pinot Noir from Ambonnay, in its most austere nuances, finds its most profound expression in her work, without embellishment or pretense. Her cuvées do not use oak, and the gentle touch she manages to express is not mere affectation, but a feminine soul that tempers the masculinity of this terroir. A champagne of great complexity, depth, austerity, and subtle elegance, almost as if to remind us that luxury is something nuanced and refined.
